Description
This blue ikat/jaspe beauty was originally made by Kathy McHenry of Azure Blue Textiles. She purchases fabrics in Guatemala and repurposes them into lovely creations such as this one donated by the member who originally purchased it. This is made of corte, the fabric women use to wrap around themselves to make a skirt. One of the great features of this runner in blues, is that it is double sided – 2 for 1! Both sides highlight the gorgeous woven fabric itself and then she accented it with applique contrasting leaves near the ends. This lovely piece measures 17″ wide x 90″ long.
