NFS

Donated by WARP grant recipient ONG DIMA

Description

This strip weaving woven in mainly black and white is full of striking color and weave effects. It was donated by ONG DIMA and is intersperced with green and orange stripes which make for effective accents. One end has a tiny bit of blue. It would look beautiful on the wall or on a long table. It measures 5.5″ wide x 64″ long.

ONG DIMA is a vocational training school that opened in 2015. Their mission is to train youth in skills to earn a living as artisans, increase the incomes of practicing craftspeople, and preserve tradition-based arts in Niger. ONG DIMA were recent recipients of a WARP grant to build a new weaving shelter.
