A practical and pretty little hand embroidered small purse, made by Queen Amina Embroidery, based in the old walled part of the town of Zaria, Kaduna State, in northern Nigeria. Handy for smartphones, pens, and any small items for a quick trip out or to store in your shoulder bag or luggage. The bag is lightly padded and embroidered with cotton thread in traditional Hausa embroidery patterns on cotton damask material. It has a side zipper and a silky soft lining.

Queen Amina Embroidery began in 1994 in Zaria City, Nigeria. Hassana Yusuf manages the organization, which represents a group of 20 women and provides and outlet for the excellent embroidery work of Zaria City women. They attend the Santa Fe International Folk Art Market where the finest craft artists from around the world attend.
