Luminous Gold and Red Scarf – Lao

This luxurious scarf is handwoven with a cotton-blend ground and a silk continuous-weft patterning in a diamond or flowers pattern. The red warp and black weft create a shimmering effect on the cloth. It is hand woven by women in the village of Ban Phanom near Luang Prabang, Lao, and is the traditional pattern from that village.

This scarf is incredibly elegant. It is woven with gold, red, and black threads that give it a rich, luminous surface. It measures 16″ x 70″.
