Description
A stunning example of wax resist and tie-dye on cotton damask designed to be a caftan. The circle in the center of the predominantly red and blue piece with a touch of white, is meant to be cut out for the head. Other uses could be as a long tablecloth with the circle used to place your centerpiece or a wall hanging. The damask has a subtle openwork in the pattern, which creates ventilation.
It measures 2 3/4 yds (approximately 100″) and both sides are selvedges. The width is 49″.
