Men’s Dress (gho) / Robe – Bhutan

This comfy robe was donated by Leki Textiles & Weaving Studio in Bunthang, Bhutan and is actually a male dress (gho) design.  It is probably commercial fabric but handsewn by Rinzin Wangmo, owner of Leki Textiles.  The brick, yellow and blue plaid is complimented with a wide solid blue trim on the front edges going up and around the neck. A wide multicolored card woven belt is used to close the robe.  This unisex robe will fit a XL- XXXL person it is so roomy. It measures from shoulder to bottom hem 55″ and arms are 24″ long. The belt is 2.5″ wide x 76″ long with a 10″ fringe. Meant to wrap a couple of times! It was gently used but like new.
