Description
This blue front-button short sleeve shirt from Kathmandu, Nepal, has 10″ slits in each side seam. The fabric feels like raw silk, but may be something else that has a little nubbiness. In Nepali culture, the color “blue” “नीलो” “Nīlō” is associated with open spaces, freedom, and imagination. The body of the shirt is about 40″ (bust/waist/hips). The side slits allow even more room for the hips. The sleeves are 12″ long and 12″ in diameter. The length of the shirt is 32″ from the shoulder seam to the bottom hem.
