It is believed that if you make a wish upon an object and place it in this basket, your wish will be answered. This lovely Nkuringo Wishing Basket, was donated by Baskets of Africa. The Batwa people of Uganda make these baskets made of local raffia palm and grasses and use natural dyes for the colors.  This lidded wishing basket is finely woven using a coil stitch and wrap technique and measures 9″ tall x 6″ wide.
