Description

These hand embroidered huipils are always so beautiful! Although there is some damage (pictured in last photo) this is still a stunner. The hand embroidered flowers are done so skillfully and the wreath they make when the huipile is open is amazing. You could sew a piece of fabric in the middle and make it into a cushion cover.  Worn, on the wall, or as a cushion,  it is worth enjoying! The background is handwoven and 100% cotton as well as the embroidery.  Folded, this is 19″ long x 32″ wide. The head opening is 6″ in diameter.  It is not sewn down the sides so full dimensions are 32″ wide x 38″ long.  It was purchased in the 1980’s in Guatemala.
