Description
A bride would keep dowry gifts in this colorful vintage envelope pouch during a wedding celebration. Likely from Sindh, Pakistan. Heavily embroidered and accented with blue and red tassels at the bottom. The bag appears to be cotton or linen, as does the lining, which is red. When closed, the bag measures about 7″ x 7″. A sweet and rare find!
