Description

Bought at a market in Uzbekistan, this chapon jacket has traditional vertical striped fabric. Lined with an unexpected floral fabric (not-carefully-coordinated mixing of fabrics is fairly common in a lot of places in Central Asian local bazaars). The front of the jacket is open without closures. The bust measures about 48″. The sleeves are about 23″ shoulder to wrist, and the shoulders measure 20″ across. This is a long jacket which is 44” from the shoulder seam to the bottom hem. Wonderful and flowing, this is a striking garment.
