Banjara Vintage Embroidered Embellishment – India

Description
A lovely vintage piece, great for hanging on the wall. Not sure what it is, but it has a wrapped, woven circle (5″ diameter) at the top, and a gorgeous embroidered panel with cowrie shells down the center. The embroidered panel measures 10″ wide x 12″ high. The edges are also embellished with cowrie shells, although in this pre-owned piece, a number of the shells along the edges are missing. It’s still stunning!
