Description
This vintage embroidered textile trapping would have been used to adorn animals. Decorative animal trappings, especially for horses and camels, are used for special occasions or to embellish working animals to emphasize their economic importance. We don’t know the country of origin of this trapping. It’s about 18″ across. The diamond shapes are about 4″ tall with the tassels extending 6″ to 9″ long. It would look beautiful on a wall or added to an existing textile piece.
