What are the benefits of a WARP Membership?

WARP welcomes all who value the social, cultural, historic, artistic, and economic importance of textile arts.  WARP’s diverse membership of approximately 500 individuals and organizations is connected to more than 40 countries worldwide. Join WARP and become part of an international network dedicated to improving improving the quality of life of textile artisans worldwide!

We offer two paid membership levels: Individual Membership and Professional or Organizational Membership.

You can choose either membership for one or two years. We offer a Simple Living membership rate to make WARP membership accessible to all. And you can give either membership as a gift to someone you love or an interested colleague!

We also offer a Guest Membership for anyone who would like to join our public events. This is one-time sign up that allows you to access part of our members area to register for public events.

Individual Membership benefits include:

  • Online member-only programs featuring presentations and panel discussions with WARP members and invited guests.
  • Annual meetings where you can meet, learn, and share with other WARP members, connect with craft resources, and have fun with other weavers and fiber artists.
  • The WARP Quarterly, more than a newsletter (online or printed) that powerfully documents the stories of our members’ work in textile arts communities around the world.
  • An online password-protected membership directory with contact information and member profiles so you can network with other WARP members around the world.
  • Your work listed in WARP’s Member Publications Directory, a catalog of over 250 books, articles, films, and more, created by WARP members. (Optional) More info

Professional or Organizational Membership receive all the benefits above, plus:

  • Listing in WARP’s Artisan Direct Connect so website visitors can find your products and services. More info
  • Promotion in WARP’s social media accounts for your business or organization’s textile-related events such as workshops, sales events, exhibitions, and opportunities.
  • Participation as a vendor in the International Textile Marketplace at WARP’s Annual Meeting. Vendors also have the opportunity to give a brief presentation about their business during the conference.

Why did WARP create a new Members Area?

WARP members have consistently asked for a way to connect directly with one another outside of the Annual Gathering—to network, exchange ideas, build relationships, and stay in conversation across geographies and disciplines. 

Our redesigned Members Area gives you access to an improved Members Directory, discussion groups, members-only and public event registration, and a much stronger foundation for member engagement.

This is a strategic initiative lead by an ad hock committee including board members, staff, and volunteers. They spent the better part of a year evaluating our current systems, seeking input from committees, and searching for a development partner. This represents an entire overhaul of how we manage the operations of WARP. It is a strategic investment in our future.

How do I access the redesigned Members Area?

If you are a current member, we invite you to take our new Members Area for a spin!

  1. Go to click “Member login” in the upper navigation of this page.
  2. You will need to create a new password. To do so, use the same email you used to sign up for a WARP membership. Click “Forgot Password”. If instructions on how to reset your password do not arrive in your inbox, please check you spam folder. If it still does not arrive, please contact us.
  3. Once you sign in, you will be directed to the Members Area.
  4. From the top navigation menu in the Members Area, navigate to the internal FAQ, you will find tips and a short, six- minute video tour. The video will help you do these four things:
    Update your membership info
    Add a banner and avatar photo to your profile
    Join a discussion group
    Register for the in-person or virtual Annual Gathering

This is an entirely new system, and you may encounter some bumps along the way. For all technical website or membership concerns, reach out to our small but mighty website support volunteers for assistance at website@weavearealpeace.org.

How do I manage my membership?

To manage your membership, log into the Members Area. Once you are there, click “My Info” at the top of the page and navigate to Membership. You will see three tabs:

Info All the information you provide when you signed up for WARP. You can update it at any time, including opting in or out of the Member Directory.

Subscriptions Your current membership status. You can renew or upgrade for your membership subscription here.

Payments Displays your recent transactions. Note all transactions may not have transferred to the new system.

I’m a WARP member and I’m having trouble signing into the new Members Area.

There are lots of reasons your credentials may not have transferred into the new Members Area correctly. Here are a few of the most common circumstances we have encountered:

Expired or Missing Membership Information

If your membership expired between November of 2025 and April of 2026, it is likely that you did not receive a renewal notice, you were unable to renew, or in a few cases, you renewed and your membership did not transfer.

Browser cache issues

If you utilized our previous password-protected Members area, your browser may have stashed an old version of our site. If you encounter issues, try navigating directly to the Members Area by copy and pasting this URL in your browser, members.weavearealpeace.org.Then sign in using either your WARP membership username and password

Password or username issues

Please sign into the Members Area using the same email you used to sign up for your WARP membership. Your old password will not work, you need to generate a new password. 

If your password reset instructions do not arrive in your inbox, check your spam filter.

How do I sign up for an event?

WARP offers two kinds of events, public and members only. We have public listings for all our events on WARP’s main website weavearealpeace.org/upcoming-events.

WARP Members

  • Click the registration link in the event listing you are interested in and you will be prompted to log into the Members Area using your user name and password.
  • Once you have done so you can register for the event. 

If this is the first time you have logged into the redesigned Members Area, you may have to rest your password.Please use the same email you used to sign up for your WARP membership to create a new password. 

Not a Member Yet?

  • Go to weavearealpeace.org and click “Join WARP.”
  • Follow the on-screen steps to sign up for the membership of your choice.
  • After logging in, you will land directly in the Members Area.


Not Ready to Join WARP?

Be our guest! WARP offers a guest membership that allows you to register for our public events. Watch this short video and learn how to create a guest username and password. Then use it to register for any future public WARP events.

What is the difference between a Guest Membership and a WARP Membership?

In order to streamline the management of our programs and member benefits, we redesigned our password protected area of the website. Here WARP members can access their benefits, connect with other WARP members, register for events, and manage their membership.

If you are not a member of WARP already, we encourage you to join us. We have a membership level to suit every budget. To learn more about membership, visit members.weavearealpeace.org/join-warp.

For public events we offer a Guest Membership to create a username and password that allows you to register for any future public events. 

We created a video to walk you through the guest registration process.

Why do I need a Guest Membership?

We streamlined the way we manage our programs. Rather than have a lot of different pathways for individuals to register, we have created one central registration system.

To access this password protected area you need to sign up for a onetime Guest Membership to receive a username and password. This allows you partial access to our algorithm free, advertising free, robust Members Area and allows you to register for our public events.
