Why did WARP create a new Members Area?

There is a long story and a short story. 

The short story is that WARP is constantly evolving. What started as a small group of people meeting in the mountains of Colorado has grown into a global community of nearly 500 people who share  a passion for WARP’s mission.

The long story is our online systems, despite our best efforts, were not working well. Our data was fractured, we did not have a functioning online Membership Directory, there wasn’t a way for members to connect with one another easily online, and some members were having difficulty renewing their membership and accessing member benefits. This may or may not have been visible to you, but it was becoming an increasing burden on our staff, board, and volunteers.

A dedicated ad hoc committee including board members and staff analyzed our current systems, gathered input from our dedicated committees, then sought a partner to make our systems work better. 

As many of you know from working in the physical world, “better” may also involve a little bit “worse”. The goal is to establish systems we can grow with well into the future. We are struggling a bit to manage this change with limited resources. Sound familiar?

If you are a current member, we invite you to take our new Members Area for a spin!

  1. Go to weavearealpeace.org and click “Member login.” You will need to create a new password.
  2. Once you sign in, you should land directly in the Members Area at members.weavearealpeace.org.
  3. From the top navigation menu in the Members Area, navigate to the internal FAQ, which includes a short 6 minute video walk through the site. The video will help you do these four things:
    Update your membership info
    Add a banner and avatar photo to your profile
    Join a discussion group
    Register for the in-person or virtual Annual Gathering

Is it perfect? No. 

Will you encounter typos or strange behavior? Most likely!

Will some of you get stuck? It’s entirely possible.

I’m a WARP member and I’m having trouble signing into the new Members Area.

There are lots of reasons your credentials may not have transferred into the new system correctly. Here are a few of the most common circumstances we have encountered:

Expired membership

If your membership expired between November of 2025 and April of 2026 it is likely that you did not receive a renewal notice or if you did were unable to renew. If this is the case, you will need to renew your membership, which may or may not mean re-entering your information.

Browser cache issues

If you utilized our previous password protected area, your browser may have stashed an old version of our site. If you encounter issues, try navigating directly to the Members Area by copy and pasting this URL in your browser, members.weavearealpeace.org. Then sign in using either your WARP membership username and password or your Guest membership username and password. 

Password or username issues

Please sign into the Members Area using the same email you used to sign up for your WARP membership. Your old password will not work, you need to generate a new password. 

If your password reset instructions do not arrive in your inbox, check your spam filter.

How do I sign up for an event?

WARP offers two kinds of events, public and members only. We have public listings for all our events on WARP’s main website weavearealpeace.org/upcoming-events.

To access event registration, sign into our Members Area using either your WARP member or Guest Member username and password. 

Your old password won’t work in the new system. Please use the same email you used to sign up for your WARP membership to create a new password. 

If you don’t have a WARP or Guest membership, we invite you to join WARP as either a full member or as our guest. 

If you already have a membership, you can navigate straight to the event registration page in our Members Area, either as a WARP Member or Guest Member.

If you signed up for WARP events in the past, your browser may have stashed an old version of our site. If you encounter issues, try navigating directly to the event page in the Members Area by copy and pasting this URL in your browser: members.weavearealpeace.org/events. Then sign in using either your WARP membership username and password or your Guest membership user name and password.

What is the difference between a Guest Membership and a WARP Membership?

In order to streamline the management of our programs and member benefits, we created a new password protected area where WARP members can access their benefits, connect with other WARP members, register for events, and manage their membership.

If you are not a member of WARP already, we encourage you to join us. We have a membership level to suit every budget. To learn more about membership, visit members.weavearealpeace.org/join-warp.

For public events we offer a Guest Membership to create a username and password that allows you to register for any future public events. 

We created a video to walk you through the guest registration process.

Why do I need a Guest Membership?

We streamlined the way we manage our programs. Rather than have a lot of different pathways for individuals to register, we have created one central registration system.

To access this password protected area you need to sign up for a onetime Guest Membership to receive a username and password. This allows you partial access to our algorithm free, advertising free, robust Members Area and allows you to register for our public events.
