Nicole Giacomantonio is an artist, maker, and mender originally from Kjipuktuk/Halifax, Nova Scotia. A long-time crafter specializing in textiles, Nicole moved to the UK in 2018 to train as a textile conservator at the University of Glasgow. She now works freelance as a textile conservator, textile repair technician, and an interdisciplinary maker with a strong commitment to textile reuse and repair. She is based in Glasgow.
Nicole has been a WARP member since 2017, when she received the Alice Brown Memorial Scholarship to attend the Annual Meeting in Oaxaca, Mexico. Join us for this fireside chat with Nicole to hear about where life has taken her since then!
