Description
Karen Searle has been using hooks and needles to manipulate threads and wire for many years, and her award-winning artwork has appeared in shows and collections in five countries as well as numerous books. This 14” piece is part of a series depicting Wonder Woman saving us from ourselves, utilizing the techniques of needle lace and crochet to manipulate copper wire. The figures are made as “line-drawings in space … the techniques [combined] to achieve dimensional effects.”
