Mid-century Navajo Rug

$5.00

Description

A beautiful example of mid-century Navajo weaving, this handwoven rug was purchased in the Navajo region by the donor’s mother during the 1950s–60s and has been carefully preserved for decades. Crafted from hand-spun, handwoven wool using both naturally colored and naturally dyed fibers, the piece reflects the enduring artistry and tradition of Navajo textile work.

The rug features striking geometric motifs in a timeless neutral palette, making it equally suited as a wall hanging, decorative textile, or small floor rug. Measuring approximately 30.25″ x 32.75″, it remains in remarkably good condition with minimal to no wear and no moth damage. The softly curled corners are consistent with the natural aging and shifting tension often found in vintage handwoven rugs of this era.
