Woven Vibrance Contemporary Guatemalan Ikat Jacket

This contemporary handwoven cotton jacket was made in Guatemala by Luna Zorro. It was crafted on a traditional footloom using a multicolor ikat, or jaspe, weaving technique. The jacket features a mandarin collar and two front pockets. It has been carefully cut and sewn to highlight the beauty of the artisan textile, combining traditional weaving methods with a modern design sensibility. The measurements are approximately 21 inches from armpit to armpit, and 32 inches from the back neck to the hem. The jacket is in new condition and has an approximate retail value of $145.
