Application for Alice Brown Memorial Scholarship

The Alice Brown Memorial Scholarship assists applicants ages 18-35 to attend WARP’s annual meeting. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a commitment to WARP’s Mission, Values and Vision through past, present or planned activities and/or scholarship. Since the scholarship provides the recipient with annual conference expenses and expects the scholarship recipient to make a 15-minute presentation about his or her work at the conference, the ability to attend the conference is one criterion required of scholarship recipients. (Please note: WARP provides some funding for travel to and from the conference.) Strong applications will demonstrate the applicant’s mission of fostering a network of enthusiasts who value the importance of textiles. Midnight U.S. Eastern Time Applications will be reviewed and the scholarship committee will notify applicants by April 15, 2026.
