Meet a Member: Fireside Chat with Kate Colwell

A WARP member for 10 years, Kate Colwell has been making textiles since early childhood  and has been involved with healthcare nearly as long.  Currently retired from several healthcare careers, Kate is glad the pandemic is winding down so she can get back to plans for more travel.  At home or on the road she makes tiny tapestries; she occasionally dabbles in fabric weaving and knitting.  After a 15 year association with Mayan Hands in Guatemala Kate recently joined their Board.  Her interest is in how to protect and promote the health of artisans and she is always up for a conversation on that topic with any WARP member.
